TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS: Before cooking, heat the pan for about 2 minutes over medium low heat. A properly heated pan improves searing, prevents sticking, and preserves the nonstick surface. Once preheated, add oil or butter and let it warm before adding food.
HEAT GUIDELINES: Use low to medium heat for most cooking. Medium high is fine for quick searing. Cookware is oven-safe up to 500°F; glass lids up to 450°F. Avoid prolonged high heat to maintain nonstick performance.
