Automatic Operation : The Aquastrong pool cover pump automatic on off features automatic smart sensor. Activates at 2.28 in water depth. If the primary trigger fails, the secondary trigger activates at 2.87 in. and continues running for 20 seconds after water level drops to 0.91 in. (Note:Please ensure that you first place the pump into the water before plugging in the power to start the water pump)

Its bottom suction design effectively eliminates water levels down to 1/4 inch, making it ideal for removing water from above-ground and in-ground pool cover, window wells, hot tubs, basements, and a variety of other applications
Versatile Adapters for Diverse Uses: This submersible water pump includes a 3/4" garden hose adapter with a check valve for use as a pool cover pump, and also comes with a 1-1/2" elbow adapter plus snap coupling adapters (available in Φ1'', 1'' NPT or Φ1-1/4'' sizes) for submersible pump applications
Impeller Lock Protection From Freezing/Debris：This automatic pool cover pump is equipped with an automatic anti-freezing function that detects ice formation and shuts the unit off to prevent damage. It also features a self-resetting thermal overload protector, which interrupts power in case of overheating and automatically resumes operation once temperatures normalize.
