Historically, deep dish plates were favored more for functionality than aesthetic, as their increased surface area minimized the damage to wooden platforms and rubber mats when dropped—but over time, they grew to be equally prized for their vintage appearance.
✅MULTI-PURPOSE – Classic weight plates can be used to perform muscle strengthening exercises, endurance training, as well as increase both flexibility and balance. Bring the gym home with these Solid Cast Iron Plates!
✅OLYMPIC STYLE PLATES – Constructed of Solid Cast Iron with a 2-inch machine drilled hole and durable Black Enamel finish. Simple, classic, and tough enough to endure a rock-solid workout! Note: Each weight plate has a 2-inch center hole diameter that is designed to fit on standard Olympic Barbells.
✅DURABLE E-COAT FINISH: A manufacturing technique borrowed from the automotive industry, this electrically-applied paint coating was also initially developed for the automotive industry, due to its excellent adhesion, even coverage, and corrosion resistance. As a wet application, E-coat goes on thinner than powder coating, resulting in a smooth feel that retains more of the natural grit of the casting.
