Kobalt's 297-piece mechanic's tool set features a wide assortment of tools housed in a two-drawer blow-molded case. Reinforced joints help the case withstand the rigors of day-to-day use. Larger drawer detents have been added to ensure the drawers stay closed during transportation. Metal clasps secure the case top and a rubber inlay has been added to the top handle for improved grip in wet conditions. The inside of the lid and both drawers feature individual compartments that securely hold all of the tools in a specific place. Every compartment has a stamped size callout that indicates what tool belongs there, helping keep things highly organized. Kobalt's 297-piece, 3-drive mechanic's tool set features 1/4-in, 3/8-in and 1/2-in drive sockets, ratchets and other drive tool accessories. This set includes three (3) 90-tooth ratchets, over one hundred (106) SAE and metric 6- and 12-point sockets, thirty-six (36) bit driver sockets, six (6) SAE and metric stubby combination wrenches, ratchets and a broad assortment of hex keys, insert bits, nut drivers and a magnetic driver handle. Sockets are marked with laser-etched size callouts and wrenches with hard-stamped callouts - both have blue (metric) or red (SAE) color stripes for easy identification. Sockets, ratchets and wrenches are constructed from chrome vanadium steel and heat-treated for strength and durability. Tools are finished with a professional grade, high-polish shine which makes cleaning them a snap. Updated 2-drawer blow-molded chest keeps your tools organized and offers convenient storage and transportation including tool storage in the lid. Case measures 9.25-in H x 16.5-in W x 12.2-in D and weighs 24.65 pounds. Tools meet or exceed ANSI specifications.
