It's easy to install in an unfinished ceiling, and a simple 2x4 frame is needed to work with an open ceiling. (A 2x4 Frame Not Included) Attach the box to the ceiling angled rafters, keeping the short sides of the box touching the angled rafters. Push the cable through the cable connector and install the ceiling fan or light fixtures.
