This drywall access door features a removable hatch and mud-in flange design, which provides quick and easy installation on non-rated walls. For wall installation only with hinge side down. Durable and Solid: This made in North America access panel for drywall is constructed from high-grade aluminum bonded with a unique welding process joining the outer and inner frames for added strength and durability. The panel comes with inlaid drywall and touch latches. Virtually Invisible: This drywall access panel features concealed snap locks, and the panel is virtually invisible. The hinges are hidden leaving only a 1/16" reveal between the flush frame and access door. Once installed, it is ready to paint to match the surrounding surface. Safety: The access doors are equipped with a safety system to prevent unauthorized access and a non-snag removable safety cable to prevent accidental opening. (The safety system must be reattached if the hatch has been removed). Easy-to-Open: BA-IVHDF wall access panel for drywall is designed to open and close easily.
